Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant manager to join our team at HLB Elyaa, an established audit firm. As an Assistant manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the audit process, ensuring quality and accuracy in all audits conducted by the firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead audit engagements from planning to completion.
  • Review workpapers prepared by audit staff to ensure compliance with auditing standards.
  • Provide guidance and training to audit team members.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through effective communication and excellent service.
  • Ensure timely completion of audits within budgeted hours.
  • Identify areas for improvement in audit processes and implement necessary changes.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in auditing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
